During his residency years Dr Monesh Shah has worked with
Dr. Indira Hinduja when India’s second and Mumbai’s first test-tube baby was born in 1987 at
K.E.M. Hospital. He was subsequently on the teaching faculty at various medical colleges & hospitals in Mumbai.
He migrated to
Pune in association with an international research project on maternal nutrition & fetal outcome in a joint collaboration with
Medical Research Council, Southampton, U.K. and KEM Hospital, Pune. Due to a keen interest in the field of infertility treatment he started Mother Hope Fertility Clinic which offers state of the art treatment in the field of infertility.
Dr. Monesh H. Shah is also a visiting ART consultant to other fertility centers in India and abroad where batch IVF/ICSI are performed.
He has been involved in batch art since 2004 and is proficient in clinical, surgical and embryology aspects from start to finish. He has a distinguished academic career with distinctions, awards, gold medals and paper presentations and publications in various journals and textbooks.
He has been instrumental in helping setup and successfully running
international IVFCentres in Nairobi (KENYA) and Dar-es-Salaam (TANZANIA)
